Since then, through his uncompromising tenacity and single-mindedness, Howard has forged, with his `team`, `Howard Travel` into a unique, national `award-winning` travel agency, with a truly enviable reputation for its professional approach, attention to detail and exceptional friendly service.

Howard`s career has enabled him to travel all over the world; far too many places to list here. This has given him extraordinary experience and insight into the `travel world`. Somewhat uniquely Howard remains `hands on` and is never happier than dealing with clients, never too busy to help anyone, leading from the front on the `shop floor`, not hidden `behind the scenes`.

Howard`s love of work is only matched by his love of cars and yes, travel. He loves to ski, he loves the sun he loves to travel `anywhere`, still saying `there are many, many places on my list I have yet to visit` - it’s just that he has `crossed off` a rather larger number of places than most of us!

My favourite destinations include, Italy, France, Spain, Egypt, California Australia and Cornwall. A recent highlight was a visit to Kenya, a really amazing experience, giving me a real insight into a wonderful country, with lovely people. I relished the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic experience of a `safari`, getting really close to the wildlife in their natural setting, including floating over them in a hot-air balloon – magical.

This passion and experience lead to her designing similar tours to numerous destinations throughout the world, including `Volunteer Tours`; here her experiences included building desks for schools and working in an Elephant Sanctuary in Kenya, constructing compost toilets for the Inca Trail porter`s families in Peru and teaching English to novice Monks in Thailand. “If you are looking for an `adventure trip` or something out of the ordinary, please come and talk to me – let me inspire you! Nowadays this aspect of travel is so exciting, but it is crucial to take the right advice and plan your trip – naturally for safety but also to maximise what is a fantastic opportunity.

Give me a beach hut and a mosquito net over a resort any day“ summarises Max`s preferences – always wandering off the beaten track to `explore`. Cruising slowly down the Nile in a felucca is her most idyllic holiday memory – with her dream to repeat, as soon as the opporuntiy arises! In her quieter moments Max likes to read and her passion for live music means that you`ll find her rocking at `Glastonbury` and the festivals, having a barbeque in the garden or infact - `wherever there`s a party`!

It goes without saying that travel is Rod`s passion, be it a `weekend break` in the UK or perhaps somewhere more exotic or little further afield. A passionate `Line Dancer`, his latest challenge is tennis, when time and the weather permits – together with planning his next trip!

Travelling is unsurprisingly high on Gill`s list of pastimes. As part of a busy social life she enjoys regular visits to the gym and pilates classes, meeting people and spending time with her family and friends.

`Travel` is at the heart of Amanda`s world, particularly with her family, with her particular favourites, so far, being The Seychelles, Caribbean and Australia. Skiing is a popular family holiday, with her two young children very keen to show off their considerably more proficient skills! Amanda likes to snatch a spare moment to socialise with family and friends, savouring the odd glass of red wine.

Jackie `s family keep her busy, but she finds time to enjoy socialising and entertaining, gardening and walking and in a quiet moment she may give thought to future travel plans!

Having travelled extensively `worldwide` Jennie now loves nothing better than her traditional family holidays, generally in a villa – to take time to `relax and enjoy`.

Travel has taken Jo to many varied and `far-away` places, with favourites including a visit to Egypt with a Nile cruise, many of the major European cities, with Italy being particularly memorable, USA including Alaska and Kenya to name just a few.

When not enjoying her time with her 10 grandchildren, Jo enjoys the pursuits of Westbury Inner Wheel, entertaining, swimming and playing golf (no details released as to Jo`s current handicap). Travel is still a favoured pastime; one which Jo intends to continue to enjoy whenever the chance arises!

Jodie loves travelling (as we all do!) and spending time with her family and friends. Since joining Howard Travel she has travelled to Australia, Malaysia, France, Belgium, America, Greece, Turkey, Ireland and Spain.

Karli loves the outdoors and keeping fit. Skiing is her new passion – but is just as happy to be Kayaking in the Caribbean sea. At Howard Travel, visiting new destinations and exploring is just in our nature and Karli is catching up fast with experiences and knowledge, albeit 30 years behind Howard ! Her energy and enjoyment of work and life is unmistakable.

Louise has travelled extensively but a recent `arrival` is likely to slow her down for a while!.

When not at work Vanya`s focus is enjoying time with her husband and `little girl`, keeping her very busy and on her toes, but when time allows she`ll enjoy a quiet walk with the dog or perhaps a `not so quiet night out` with the girls!

However, Wayne does get to travel, making the most of it to learn and experience. This is one of the amazing things about the travel industry, I can help and advise my clients ensuring that they enjoy the very best holiday – offering comments, suggestions and tips, many picked up from my own travels!

Quality time away with her husband or friends is important to Kate with her current holiday of choice being to more exotic and unusual destinations and cruising. As a keen skier she tries to visit the mountains at least every other year.
